I am a highly specialised physiotherapist and developed my interest in sensory processing differences when working in the early 1990s at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge in an innovative service for children with coordination difficulties. In 2005 I was awarded the status of advanced sensory integration practitioner by completing all four Masters modules in sensory integration offered through Sensory Integration Education.
I have worked with both the University of Liverpool and the University of Ulster as a recognised lecturer in sensory integration. I was the coordinator and senior lecturer for the Sensory Integration Education Masters module in sensory integration, until life became too busy with grandchildren!
I am a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP), registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate.
